Sibusiso Leope 'Dj Sbu' (@<success>)
Men are haunted by the vastness of
eternity. And so we ask ourselves:
will our actions echo across the
centuries? Will strangers hear our
names long after we are gone, and
wonder who we were, how bravely we
fought, how fiercely we loved?
We are all at war and the attack is not from the other country or people but we are at war with ourselves. One of my dreams as I was growing up was centered around the idea of being famous, we all have dreams and we all want to be remembered.
We are at war with ourselves because we Want to be remembered. In our generation we do not just do things for fun or because I want to help other people, we do things so that long when we are gone we would be remembered as the one who published countless number of books, helped the needy, or fought for black/white people.
In the midst of all that greed and hunger comes a man known as Sibusiso Leope, Born May 28, 1977 (age 37) 'Dj Sbu' some of his well known associate's Brown Dash, DJ Cleo, Izinyoka, Zahara.
His occupation is simply producer, Author, Dj and musician (kwaito and house).
I am not going to talk about his book or what he has done in his life but I am going to say he is a hustler, Nevermind the rumour that spread that he robbed Zahara which may be true but this man is not just a businessman but he is a business. Most people that are musicians die because of drugs but he is clean and after a crazy day at 'friends like these', he goes and wear a suite.
In my diary this morning I want to encourage everyone that follows me not to be afraid of chasing their dreams.
Success is not defined by prosperity in money but prosperity in knowledge and wisdom. I am a pastor, writer (finished one book working on three) and publisher but I do not have money, not even a cent and it feels like nothing is happening but I consider myself a success.
Dj Sbu is a hustler from the hood he released albums, he was successful as 'Mzekezeke', he is successful as a presenter, Dj, producer and author but most of all he is successful in wisdom and knowledge never mind the rumors about treachery, he got through and became an encouragement for all of us in the township's.
In my diary I say big up's to the man who defines success Sibusiso Leope 'Dj Sbu' and big up's to you who are chasing theirs.
But remember, success is not money but success is growth, knowledge and wisdom.
