ARE WE REALLY REAL

Being a young, vibrant and active young Pastor actually taught me a lot about is actually real

Are we actually real to God, real to our families, real to our communities and most importantly real to ourselves.

The church today in the dark ages found itself in a situation, the muslims have taken over the europe and they were coming to the Roman empire to take over. If they would have won the war then the Europe would have fully been truned into muslim continent. It was through the Charles that the war was won using the name of Jesus to go to war. At that point and time the church had  to be real, they were faced up with the greatest war that they have ever seen and if they loose then the priests were going to die along with their temples and many other people, they had to be real.

What do i mean?

I am beginning to understand that situation are meant to help us to be true to ourselves,  true to who we are and who God is. So many of us think that we know and understand but God is trying to show us that we actually don't know. When  we look in to the story of Jesus washing the disciples feet, he (according to John) has just been notified of who is going to betray him, so he took his cloth or towel and washed the feet of his disciples showing them that they need to love one another and wash each others feet no matter what ones has done. Basically he was saying Judas I know you're going to sell me out for a slave change and Peter I know you're going to deny me three times, Thomas I know you're going to doubt me. Yet I want you to know that I love you and you are included I  my work and in my Kingdom.

Peter repented and went back to Jesus and Thomas believed but Judas never returned. Jesus was teaching that we need to love those who hate us, those who kill us, those who curse you, those who want you dead, those who discourage you and those who wish you the worst. Love them and wash their feet.

1. How many of the people have you rejected because they are not saved?
2. How many of the people have you wished bad things should happen to them?
3. How many of the people have you ignored going to church?

Christians need to be real, Christianity is for all!!!
